What we collect and why
- Bookings — your name, email and phone, plus the appointment itself. Basis: performing the booking contract. We keep booking records 6 years (business/tax records).
- Deposits — card payments are handled by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers.
- Reminders and confirmations — emails about the booking you made. Basis: contract, not marketing. We don't send marketing email at all unless we ask you separately and you say yes.
- Gift vouchers — purchaser and recipient details, kept to honour the voucher.
- Contact form — your message, used to reply and nothing else.
Cookies
One essential cookie (smith_session) exists for staff sign-in to the back office. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising trackers, and nothing that follows you around the internet — which is why there's no cookie banner.
